ゲームロフトは、iOS/Android用アプリ「アスファルト8: Airborne」を2013年8月22日に配信すると発表、iOS版のスペシャルコードをプレゼントするキャンペーンを実施した。
キャンペーンは、ゲームロフトの公式ツイッターページより、「アスファルト8: Airborne」の配信日決定ニュースをリツイートしたファンの中から1名に、ゲーム配信日前に本作を楽しめるスペシャルコードをプレゼントするというもの。
