ユービーアイソフトは、コードマスターズ制作のPS4/Xbox One用レーシングゲーム「DiRT 4」を、2016年7月27日に発売すると発表した。
シリーズ最新作となる「DiRT 4」では、ラリーやラリークロスをリアルに体験することができ、さらにトラックやバギーを用いたランドラッシュも楽しめる。
また、ラリーのルートを自動作成するツール「Your Stage」がシリーズ初搭載。Your Stageでは、無限に近い数のステージをボタンひとつで作成できる。作成したステージでレースをするのは勿論、共有したりフレンドとタイムトライアルで競うことも可能だ。
コリン・マクレー ラリーゲームが基盤となったラリーや、FIA世界ラリークロス選手権公式ゲームとして完全再現された実在するコースでの激しいラリークロス、トラックやバギーを使ったランドラッシュ、そしてジョイライドでの楽しいイベントなど、プレイヤーはオーストラリア、スペイン、カリフォルニア等で行われるレースを自由に楽しもう。また、初回生産限定特典が、キャリアモードで使用できる「Hyundai R5」とオンライン上に表示されるアイコンのセットに決定された。
