2Kは、2020年11月10日にXbox Series X|S版、2020年11月12日にPS5版が発売予定の「NBA 2K」について、ゲームプレイ・ディレクターであるマイク・ワン氏による「NBA 2K21」次世代機版コートサイドレポートを公開した。
3回に分けてお届けするコートサイドレポートの第一弾となる今回は、間もなく発売される次世代機版の「NBA 2K21」でシュート、ドリブル、パスがゲームプレイの中でどのように進化しているか、その全貌が開発チームならではの視点も織りまぜて紹介されている。
プロコントロールによるシュートとドリブルの操作に関するゲームプレイでの変更や、次世代機の性能によって可能になったパスに関するさまざまな改良など、これまでのシリーズで最も多岐にわたるバスケットボール体験が可能だ。
