MattelとMilestoneは、日本時間4月8日3時に実施されたオンライン生放送「Gameplay Showcase」において、2021年内に発売を予定しているPS5/PS4/Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One/Nintendo Switch/PC用ソフト「Hot Wheels Unleashed」のトレーラー「Gameplay Trailer」を公開した。
本トレーラーでは、ゲームプレイの様子が初めて公開。ヴィンテージ感のある薄暗い「ガレージ」の中、ツインミルをはじめとするホットウィールの個性的な車が競い合うレースの光景を楽しめる。本作ではガレージのほかにも、それぞれ異なる魅力を持ったステージが多数登場する予定とのこと。
なおオンライン生放送「Gameplay Showcase」の内容は、YouTube上のアーカイブ配信でも視聴可能だ。
