スクウェア・エニックスは、PS4/PS3/Xbox 360/PC「Thief」を、2014年6月12日に発売すると発表し、日本語吹き替え版のゲームプレイトレーラーを公開した。
本作は、中世の雰囲気に加え、産業革命の兆しも見える巨大な街「シティ」を舞台に、プレイヤーは”マスターシーフ”の異名を持つ盗賊「ギャレット」となり、街に眠る財宝や隠された真実を盗み出すステルスアクション。
発売日の決定に合わせて、ゲームプレイ映像で構成された日本語吹き替え版の”GamePlay”トレーラーが公開となった。主人公の”マスターシーフ”「ギャレット」を演じているのは、声優の中村悠一さんだ。
