KONAMIは、iOS/Android版「ウイニングイレブン 2017」が、世界累計5,000万ダウンロードを突破したと発表した。
家庭用ゲーム「ウイニングイレブン」シリーズのリアルな試合の興奮を、いつでもどこでも手元で楽しめる「ウイニングイレブン 2017」。ブラジルやスペインなどサッカー主要国を含む97の国と地域のApp Store無料ランキング（ゲームカテゴリ）で1位を獲得している。
本作が世界累計5,000万ダウンロードを突破。これを記念して、特別なキャンペーンが実施されることとなった。
