「あつまれ天才麻雀」は、坂本竜馬やクレオパトラ、マリーアントワネット、伊達政宗など、歴史上の偉人たちが一同に集う麻雀バトルが楽しめる新感覚の麻雀ゲーム。
ゲームを盛り上げる豪華で派手な演出や、合計3種類の対戦方法（2人対戦/4人対戦/コンビ対戦）が選べるなど、いろいろな楽しみ方が用意されている。
また、おすすめの捨牌を教えてくれる「麻雀ナビ機能」も搭載し、麻雀のルールをほとんど知らない初心者からベテランのユーザーまで気軽に麻雀が楽しめる。
