「Darksiders Genesis」は、「Darksiders」シリーズ第4作目となるアクションアドベンチャーRPG。“黙示録の四騎士”の最後の騎士・ストライフは、同じ四騎士が一人・ウォーと共に、悪魔と天使、そしてすべてのものを銃と剣でなぎ倒し、地獄へと冒険する。
また、本作ではシリーズで初となる2人協力プレイモードも実装。「Darksiders」シリーズ第一作目よりも以前に起きた出来事をたどる前日譚で、ストライフの活躍を追う。
