「Squirreled Away」はプレイヤーがリスとなり、モコモコな手足を駆使して、にぎやかな都会の公園を自由自在に駆け回りながら、自由に隠れ家を作っていくマルチプレイサバイバルクラフトアドベンチャーゲームだ。最大3人までのマルチプレイにも対応している。
木々の間をすり抜け、隠された秘密を見つけ出したり、個性豊かな動物たちと触れ合いつつも、縄張りを守る犬たちをうまく避けながら、材料を集めて自分だけの心地よいツリーハウスを作り上げよう。
広大な都市公園の活気あふれる生態系を探索したり、採集やクラフトに集中したりといったのんびりとしたサンドボックス環境も魅力だが、リスならではの機敏なパルクールアクションも特徴の作品となっている。
