「Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2」は、レトロなグラフィックと爽快な戦闘が特徴のFPS。ウルトラマリンのマルム・カエドと、新登場のバトルシスター・ナイラ・ベイラスを操作し、多彩な武器やチェーンソードを駆使して敵を撃破していく。重厚な世界観が再現されたマップの探索や、惑星規模の危機を描くストーリーに加え、「DOOM」シリーズの楽曲を手がけたMick Gordon氏によるオリジナル楽曲も収録されている。
