「ロード オブ ザ フォールン」は、“凶悪な難易度”の敵に対し、戦略を練って繰り返し挑み、クリアへの道を切り開いていくトライ＆デスをコンセプトにした、ダークファンタジーの世界観で描かれるアクションRPG。
主人公・ハーキンの高い戦略性を持つ近接戦闘システムや、スピード、パワー、敏捷さが肝となる装備システム、特性/呪文ポイントを自由に振り分けられるキャラクター強化システムなどが特徴となる。
