「バルダーズ・ゲート3」は、「ディヴィニティ」シリーズを手掛けるLarian Studiosが開発するファンタジーRPG。「Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn」の続編となる23年ぶりのシリーズ最新作となっており、テーブルトークRPG「ダンジョンズ＆ドラゴンズ 第5版」の世界を舞台にした冒険を楽しめる。
ダイスロールでの成否判定といった「D＆D」の要素やルールがゲームシステムに取り入れられているのが特徴だ。プレイヤーの選択によって展開が変化する物語や複数の解決方法が存在する攻略自由度の高さ、戦略性の高いバトルシステム、美麗なグラフィックなどが魅力の作品になっている。
