ソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメントジャパンアジアは、PS4用ソフト「グランツーリスモSPORT」において、本日12月22日よりクリスマスアップデートを配信した。
クリスマスアップデートでは、シングルプレイモードの「GTリーグ」が追加。過去シリーズ作品に収録されていた「GTモード」のように、初心者向けからベテランプレイヤー向けまで用意されたさまざまなカップ戦のレースリーグや耐久レースシリーズに挑むことができる。「GTリーグ」モードは2018年以降も収録レースが拡充される予定だ。
また「日産 Skyline GT-R V・spec II（R32）」「日産 Skyline GT-R V・spec II Nür（R34）」「マツダRX-7 Spirit R Type A（FD）」「ランボルギーニ Countach LP400」「フェラーリ F40」などのクルマ12台が追加。今後も発売から2018年3月までに、合計50台のクルマやコースが追加される予定となっている。そして2018年4月以降も継続してクルマやコースを追加していくとのことだ。
