ソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメントは、PS5/PS4用ソフト「グランツーリスモ7」の無料アップデート「Spec III」を本日12月4日17時より配信する。
また、PS5版向けの有料追加コンテンツ「パワーパック」も同時配信される。価格は3,850円（税込）。
無料アップデート、バージョン1.65の「Spec III」では、高性能マシンや象徴的なクラシックカー、そして最先端テクノロジーが融合したエキサイティングなコンテンツが登場する。フェラーリの最新サーキット仕様GT3マシンやポールスターのフラッグシップモデルに加え、新たなサーキット、イベント、各種機能も実装され、あらゆるクルマファンが楽しめる内容となっている。
また、PS5版向けの新たな有料追加コンテンツ「パワーパック」では、20のテーマ別カテゴリーにわたる全50レースが追加され、24時間レースや「グランツーリスモ」が独自にチューニングを施した6台の特別なクルマ、グランツーリスモ・ソフィー3.0とのテール・トゥ・ノーズの接近戦などが体験可能だ。
