ソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメントは、PS4用ソフト「グランツーリスモSPORT」において、本日8月27日に8月アップデートを配信した。
本アップデートでは、新車両として「世界中のクルマ好きに愛された、ジャパニーズ FR スポーツ」、「テクノロジーで走りに革命を起こした、ジャパニーズ 4WD スポーツ」をテーマとした全5台の新車両が追加された。
また、「レッドブル・リンク」にはウェットコンディションが登場。シングルプレイモードの「GTリーグ」のイベントにも新規要素が追加されている。
