ソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメントは、「いちご一会とちぎ国体・とちぎ大会」（栃木国体・第77回国民体育大会・第22回全国障害者スポーツ大会）の文化プログラムとして開催される「全国都道府県対抗eスポーツ選手権 2022 TOCHIGI」「グランツーリスモ7」部門について、エリア選抜戦を7月17日から8月28日の約1か月半にわたって全国で実施した。
