ベセスダ・ソフトワークス／ゼニマックス・アジアは、PS4/Xbox One用ソフト「Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition」を、2017年9月28日に発売する。
「2016 BAFTA」や「2016 D.I.C.E. Game of the Year」を含む200以上もの「最優秀賞」に輝き、日本では「日本ゲーム大賞 2015 フューチャー部門」や「PS Awards 2016 ユーザーズチョイス賞」を受賞した「Fallout 4」は、Bethesda Game Studios最高の意欲作だ。
「Vault 111」唯一の生存者であるプレイヤーは、核戦争で荒廃した世界を生き抜き、ウェイストランドの命運を担うことになる。この世界では、一瞬一瞬が生き残りをかけたサバイバル。すべての決断はプレイヤー次第。この世界の再建と運命はその手に託されている。
「Fallout 4：Game of the Year Edition」には、ゲーム本編および6つの追加コンテンツをすべて（「Automatron」「WastelandWorkshop」「Far Harbor」「Contraptions Workshop」「Vault-Tec Workshop」「Nuka-World」）収録。さらに拡張された「Fallout 4」の世界を、これ一本で楽しむことができる。
また、PS4版「Fallout 4」の価格も新しくなり、パッケージ販売のみ2,800円（税抜）で販売される。
