KONAMIは、現地時間6月16日よりアメリカ・ロサンゼルスにて開催される「Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015」において、「ウイニングイレブン 2016」および「METAL GEAR SOLID V:THE PHANTOM PAIN」の最新トレーラーを公開すると発表した。
「METAL GEAR SOLID V:THE PHANTOM PAIN」は、全世界での累計販売本数が4,120万本（2015年3月末現在）を超えている「メタルギア」シリーズの最新作だ。E3 2015では、本作の最新トレーラーと実機によるデモプレイが公開される。
また、昨年海外で数々の賞を受賞し好評を博した家庭用ゲーム「ウイニングイレブン」（海外名：Pro Evolution Soccer）シリーズの最新作、「ウイニングイレブン 2016」（海外名：PES 2016 –Pro Evolution Soccer-）の最新トレーラーと試遊機も公開される（事前予約したメディア関係者のみの公開）。
さらに、クラブマネジメントジャンルが主流である欧州のサッカーゲーム市場をターゲットに据え、日本・英国・米国のチームが連携して家庭用とモバイルの技術・ノウハウ融合に取り組んだモバイルゲーム「ウイニングイレブン クラブマネージャー（PES CLUB MANAGER）」の展示も行われるとのことだ。
