2Kは、PS4/Xbox One/Nintendo Switch/PC用ソフト「シドマイヤーズ シヴィライゼーション VI」において、8月のゲームアップデートを配信した。
本アップデートでは、バランスやアップデートに伴う変更に加えて、シナリオ、ゲームモード、カスタム要素などの新機能が追加。今月のアップデートでは、自然遺産ピックアップ機能、「技術・社会制度」シャッフルモードが追加され、プレイヤーからの意見に基づいた変更が含まれている。
