THQ Nordic Japanは、Nintendo Switchパッケージ版「スポンジ・ボブ：Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated」を本日12月15日に発売した。
本作は、スポンジ・ボブ、パトリック、サンディの3人を操作して平和な海底の街「ビキニタウン」を悪者のプランクトンから救うアクションゲーム。日本語吹き替えは、TVアニメの「スポンジ・ボブ」と同じ声優さんが担当。

スポンジ・ボブはパンツでバンジージャンプをしたり、サンディは投げ縄を使って滑空したりと、それぞれのスキルを駆使してステージをクリアしていこう。オンラインまたはオフラインでのマルチプレイにも対応しており、2人での協力プレイも可能だ。
