KONAMIは、PS3版「ワールドサッカー ウイニングイレブン 2014」において、追加ダウンロードコンテンツ「ジャパンチャレンジパック」を配信、追加DLC「J.LEAGUEパック」を5月22日に配信すると発表した。
今回PS3版にて配信された「ジャパンチャレンジパック」は、サッカー日本代表のアジアから世界に至る激闘をゲームの中で体験することができる新コンテンツ。アジアの強豪チームがひしめく“インターナショナルカップ アジア予選”から、世界最大のサッカーの祭典“インターナショナルカップ”本大会への出場・優勝を目指そう！
本DLCでは、チーム全体を操作する「チームモード」と、選手の1人を操作する「プレイヤーモード」が搭載。チームモードでは監督としてサッカー日本代表選手を選出し、自分だけの代表チームで世界に挑むことができる。また、プレイヤーモードでは愛するSAMURAI BLUEの一員になりきることや、「ビカム・ア・レジェンド」で育てたオリジナル選手をメンバーに選び、サクセスストーリーを体験することができるぞ。
なお、2014年5月22日に発売されることが明らかとなったPS3/PSP/3DS「ワールドサッカー ウイニングイレブン 2014 蒼き侍の挑戦」には、本DLCがあらかじめ収録されているので、プレイを考えている人は合わせてチェックしておこう。

なお、J1・J2の全40クラブ、1,000人以上の所属選手が収録された「J.LEAGUEパック」の配信日も明かされたので、続々と出てくるコンテンツをプレイし、サッカーで盛り上がるこの年をぜひ味わい尽くしてみてはいかがだろう。
